THE FOCUS OF THERAPY

Individuality is important in the practice. Every client that is assessed is seen as an individual that can develop further and to its full potential. A various array of international test are used to assess and develop an individualized treatment program for each client. There is different forms of therapy for different outcomes. All that can be discussed in feedback after the evaluation.

SENSORY INTEGRATION

Sensory integration refers to how people use the information provided by all the sensations coming from within the body and form the external environment. We usually think of the senses as separate channels of information, but they actually work together to give us a reliable picture of the world and our place in it.

For most of us sensory integration occurs without conscious thought or effort. For others, sensory integration happens inefficiently. This is when certain diagnoses are made that might only be a sensory dysfunction.

DIR FLOORTIME

DIR is the Developmental, Individual-differences, & Relationship-based model. It was developed by Dr. Stanley Greenspan to provide a foundational framework for understanding human development. It explains the critical role of social-emotional development starting at birth and continuing throughout the lifespan. It also provides a framework for understanding how each person individually perceives and interacts with the world differently.

MNRI

The Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI) process begins with a basic MNRI assessment to identify whether dysfunctional or deeper pathological automatic primary motor reflex patterns are present. Once challenged reflex patterns are identified, an MNRI treatment plan is created and the integration process can begin.

The MNRI basic assessment is designed to determine the integration state of each primary motor reflex pattern. The first step is to simply determine if a primary motor reflex pattern is active (not integrated) or not (integrated). To determine the current reflex pattern state, a sensory stimulus (specific to each reflex) is applied and the resulting response is observed.

JUST RIGHT STATE PROGRAM

‘The Just Right State’ refers to our ability to achieve and maintain the just right emotional state either when we are relating to others or carrying out a task. This programme will teach you how sensations can be used to: soothe you, uplift you, help you stay calm when aggravated, and most importantly, enable you to have fun in your relationship with your child. Your child at the same time is learning how to achieve the ‘just right state’ through the use of play and food on the children’s programme.
